I’m waiting here at the terminal with my plane ticket in hand, so it’s a definite now. We’re stopping in Hawaii first, then Sacramento. All need now is a ticket from Sacramento to mi casa :)

Requesting a 3 to 5-level..

The next desert rotation is coming up and instead of sending a 7-level now they are requesting someone with less experience, again. After being told for the past year that there was no chance of deploying it finally turned around on me at the worst time. I wouldn’t be so bothered if they had told me sooner, for instance before I scheduled my leave, but in that case I would have already gone home...
